In the long-awaited sequel, teenage aliens regularly refer to each other as bros, spy Avatar Marines shout "Get some!" and other cliches abound. "Avatar: The Way of Water" similarly isn't likely to become known for its subtlety. That was one of the criticisms lobbed at the first "Avatar" in 2009, despite its overwhelmingly positive reviews.
